Dr. Julio Iglesias-Garcia at the 5th Annual Orlando Live EUS 2017, August 30 - Sept 1, 2017, at the Florida Hospital Nicholson Center

Dr. Julio Iglesias Garcia had an active participation at the 5th Annual Orlando Live EUS meeting, organized by Dr. Shyam Varadarajulu and Dr. Robert Hawes. He participated at the breakfast session, covering the topic “Tricks to maximizing yield at EUS-guided FNA, FNB and Liver Biopsies”, co-chaired with Dr. Hawes. During the meeting, Dr. Iglesias gave a lecture on “Technique of EUS-guided liver biopsy: Is it a valid indication?”. Additionally, Dr. Julio Iglesias-Garcia performed different EUS procedures during live demonstrations, mainly focused on the role of contrast enhancement and elastography for the optimization of the diagnostic yield of EUS. During the sessions, more than 250 participants were at the Auditorium of the Nicholson Center.
